Forgiveness: Easier Said Than Done

Sundays, September 10 – 24 | 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. | Sanctuary and NewSong or Watch Live Online

Jesus placed forgiveness at the core of the prayer he taught his disciples to pray: “Forgive us our trespasses (debts), as we forgive those who trespass against us (our debtors).” Despite this and his many teachings on the topic, forgiveness is still one of the most difficult things a human being can do. Join us for this three-week series where we will explore questions like: “What kinds of things need to be forgiven?” “Does forgiving mean forgetting?” Should you forgive people who aren’t remorseful?” “Can we forgive people who are no longer alive?” Exploring these questions and others will equip you to truly forgive others, even when you don’t know how.
