I'm not used to going to church, and I'm not really sure what I believe about God yet. Will I be welcome at this church?
Yes! If you have questions and doubts, that's OK! Christ United is a place where you can learn about God and wrestle with difficult questions. We invite you to come, questions and all. You may also wish to contact the church office and arrange a time to speak with one of our pastors.

Do you have to be a member of Christ United before becoming involved in Sunday school, Wednesday night classes, or Community Groups?
We do not require membership in order to participate in these activities. We want everyone to be able to be involved in activities where they can grow spiritually and enjoy fellowship with others.

I'm coming from another denomination. May I still attend this church?
Yes! You don't have to come from a Methodist background to attend Christ United. Our doors are open to everyone, regardless of religious background or life experiences.

Will I be expected to give financially when an offering is taken?
As our guest, you may give if you would like, but please do not feel obligated to give financially.

What is Communion?
Communion, also called the "Lord's Supper," is something Jesus began the night before He died for us on the cross. At Christ United, we usually celebrate Communion together the first Sunday of each month, after the sermon.

Do you have to be a member to take Communion?
You do not need to be a member of this church to take Communion. The Lord's table is open to everyone who loves Christ and has repented of sin.

What if I do not want to partake in Communion?
You do not have to take Communion. The decision to participate in Communion is between an individual and God. The Lord's table is open for you when you decide that you are ready.

Do you serve wine for Communion?
It may be referred to as "wine," but what we serve to symbolize Christ's blood shed for us is actually grape juice.
